What you'll do
- Driving customer acquisition, meetings, and closing
- Designing proposal narratives and materials (storytelling)
- Relaying customer voices to the product team
- Building partnerships and alliances
Must-haves
- Experience in B2B sales / business development
- Ability to create structured materials and proposals
- Willingness to learn and dive into a specialized domain
- A track record of going further than most people would, and the ability to explain the circumstances and your own decisions concretely (any field)
- Experience seeing something through in an unreasonable situation, or breaking through after being turned down repeatedly
- Experience building trust single-handedly with a first-time client or a senior counterpart on site
- Experience owning a single client end to end as the point of contact, from before the order through after delivery
Nice to have
- Proposal experience in maritime, manufacturing, or SaaS / AI
- Experience building an early-stage sales organization

Terms & employment
Full-time (3-month probation). Full flextime / remote OK. Location: Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, Minato-ku, Tokyo. Full-time on-site at our Roppongi office. Working hours are fully flexible, but some meetings require attendance, such as the daily 7:30 a.m. team meeting. Partial remote work can be discussed for childcare or family-care needs. (relocating near Ōmori in 2027). Stock options available.
